Free tool to create your own database
TreeDBNotes is an easy to use database creation software that doesn't require any knowledge of complex languages such as MySQL.
It works in a tree-shaped structure with it's own easy to use built in word processor, password protection and encryption. TreeDBNotes can import text files (in TXT and RTF format), HTML files, Word documents and Excel sheets. As you build your database, TreeDBNotes allows you to view in a tree structure format how your database is growing.
It also has an integrated search and replace engine which allows you to find files or documents that you may have uploaded but want to remove. For a free application, it's not a bad little package although it's only really useful for storing notes, emails, images, URLs, documents, contacts and passwords. It's not really suitable for those that want to store multimedia files such as music and video.
TreeDBNotes is a useful free tool for administering and building databases as long as your needs are fairly simple.
